The final part of the magicite hunt.
I spoke to a tarutaru in Tenshodo named Sattal-Mansal. He asked me to bring him a Quadav Charm and a Quadav Augury Shell.
For this adventure, Sha-chan and I enlisted the aid of a linkshell member, Edenswolf the Paladin.
He and the leader of my linkshell had joined me for training outside of Kazham the previous evening. Apparently Eden had not yet slept from that adventure!
Paladin must have some awesome stamina! That or perhaps it comes with the experience of level 75?
We three suited up, rented chocobo's and made our way to Beadeaux.
Once there, Eden went on ahead to slay De'Vyu Headhunter and Go'Bhu Gascon. Shagrath and I waited outside of one of the Quadav hut's.
When we got the needed items, we raced back to Jeuno and received a Coruscant Rosary and Black Matinee Necklace from the Tenshodo taru.
Then it was back to Beadeaux to grab the magacite.
Again the area had more of that... Was it cerment? Had it simply come to be behind those great walls and somehow the beastmen sniffed it out? Then blown a great hole in the wall to get at it? Or did someone else break it and the beastmen are an easy scapegoat?
All this worry and wonder to be able to travel more easily!

We returned to Jeuno and met with the Archduke again.
He spoke about the power of the stones and assumed the beastmen were up to something treacherous.
Once again, the hooded figures who flanked the audience chamber gave me the creeps.
This time, the words of the Archduke made the little hairs on the back of my neck stand on end.
Something shady seemed afoot.
However, I took my reward of an airship pass from the Archduke without questioning his motives.
Best to quietly watch from the shadows at this point then to challenge him and risk Goddess knows what happening to my friends, or even myself.
Things only became more strange as I was leaving.
The Archduke's little brother approached me and asked what words were exchanged. Before I even had a chance to deny him, he held up his hand. I couldn't even run away! All I could do was stand there and stare him down! Some how that boy managed to read my mind. He then called for the guard to have the young hume woman I had met a day or two before summoned to him. She had been friends with a goblin...
Eald'narche said he was looking forward to playing with her. That did not sit well with me at all.
I mentioned the exchange to Sha-chan and he simply said to wait and see.
Wait and see... Goddess protect her for I can not.
