Meadow Solo

After an evening of duoing with Shagrath, I had chosen to stay the night in the Safehold.
When I woke up, I wanted to try my new-found Red Mage abilities by myself to see... Well just to see!
So I headed out to the meadows and used the protect, shell, blink and stoneskin enchantments.
Then I cast enthunder to give my Fencing Degen a little extra kick.
I set my sights on a bee.

The fight went well. After a short rest and a recast of my enchantments I went for a sheep.
These were a bit harder and after a while, I saw my mana getting fairly low. Too low.
No problem! I had the ability "convert". This was the perfect time to use it.
However, I knew I needed to distract the sheep first.
Bio and Poison had worn off, so I knew it was safe to cast. I just hoped it would "stick".
I turned my back to the sheep.

The Tavnazian Sheep is asleep.

YES!!! ^_^/
Just in case I cast Blink and Stoneskin.
And then... ~~~ CONVERT ~~~

Cure II
Divine Seal
Cure III
Refresh

Now my mana was high and my health was fully restored.
I recast enthunder, followed by blaze spikes and waited for the Sheep to wake up.

After that success, I went back to bees.
I had one bad pull, where one bee followed the bee I had blinded.
I quickly slept the extra bee and fought the original, making sure to keep the blink enchantment up.
The extra bee needed to be slept twice, but didn't really prove to be much of a hardship at all! =^_^=

I was feeling pretty good about my soloing skills!
Yes, I realize these creatures were easy pray, but I wanted to start "small" and work my way up to harder things. Hehe.

All this as I work toward my lofty goal of beating Red Mage Maat!

Luckily, I have help. Red Mage Mishi agreed to go toe to toe with me on her red mage in Brenner!
I need to get my Ballista License first, though.
I can picture the battle now:
