There is nothing quite like a nice long sleep in a cushy bed to recharge your body! =D
"Good Morrrrrning! Good Morrrning! Too Youuu!"
"Kupo! Kiamo, you have two deliveries this morning."
"I do?"
Moogle handed me two packages. I wasn't expecting anything to arrive. I hadn't placed items up at auction recently.
Seated in the middle of my comfy bed, I carefully unfolded the parchment that concealed the mysterious delivery.
A robe!? I wondered who would send me such a thing and took a look at the tag.
Linen Robe +1
"Who sent this?"
"Lunene, kupo!"
"I don't know a Lunene..."
"That sounds like a girl's name, kupo! Maybe it is the girlfriend of your Protector Puppeteer? Kuuupiepiepiepie!!!!"
Moogle spun in a fit of laughter as I shot her a scathing look.
"Sarima! That isn't funny! Just because he's my first friend here doesn't mean I'm crushing on him..."
"Kuuupoo, but you did say- Oh Sarima, he has hair like the fellow in the painting - "
"Well... he kind of does."
"The painting you have been ogling at, kupoiooooioioiii!"
With that I balled up the parchment and threw it hard at Moogle.
She just spun out of the way, giggling all the while.
I decided to ignore her and open the other package instead. This one was the matching Linen Slops.
Both pieces fit a little big, but I won't complain about a gift!!
Now that I had a new outfit, it was time to try out Red Mage with White Mage support!
I headed for Buburimu Peninsula with a package of supplies for the guards at the outpost.
Once there, I took the advice of Protector Puppeteer (I hear you giggling still Sarima!!) and did training regimen listed in the field manual for extra experience points. I also used some tabs I collected to gain the Refresh enchantment. That really helped!
I was going along at a pretty good clip, so of course something bad had to happen.
I was just about to knock out a Sylvestre when something cast stone on me. I whirled around to see a Goblin Tinkerer.
B-Bind!!
Your spell is interrupted.
Now both of them were beating on me.
Blind!!!
Your spell is interrupted.
I tried to run, but really there was no point. I got about three paces from the outpost when I felt myself faceplant in the dirt.
A sad pile of level 19 Red Mage Mithra.
With what little energy I had left, I whispered to no one in particular...
Can anyone help me? I... I'm behind the Outpost... at Buburimu Peninsula.
The linkshell was silent.
I don't know how long I was there, but after some time I heard a shout not far off. I tried to prick up my ears... Were they calling for a raise for someone?
Not for me, but if they could get help for this other person, maybe they could for me also. It wouldn't hurt to ask.
Me too? {Please} {Raise}?
Where are you?
Right behind the Outpost.
Ok, I will go change and come right back and raise you.
Oh {Thank You}! Thanks so much!
Not a problem! Hopefully when I find myself in the same predicament, someone will do the same for me.
Moments later, an Elvaan fellow dressed in leggings and cropped top walked up next to me and began to cast.
As I fully came to my senses, I thanked him again and rested up against the Outpost as I waited to regain my strength.
Not long after that, I got private word from Protector Puppeteer.
Hi there.
{Hello!} =^_^=
Training solo again I see?
Oh yes- I had my first death today...
Oh no! Did you have to home point?
No, an Elvaan came to my rescue. I was being really good, too! Staying close to the Outpost. I was behind the fence even. I didn't know Goblins could see through fences.
Heh, yea- sometimes that happens. Well I have to get going, just thought I would check up on you. I'll be around later if you want to train together again.
Oh yes! Okay, that would be great!
Ok, see you then.
I was EXTRA careful after that and soon--
Level Up *20*
Woohoo! I finished the training regimen I had signed up for and for the first time, let the guard at the outpost teleport me.
Wow! Fun stuff! I appeared right outside my mog house! =D
