Tahrongi Canyon... again. This time, I skipped the cookies.
My last training session went so well that this time I was bold enough to fight back-to-back Goblins!
I may not have "barfira" yet, but I did happen to learn a fancy new Weapon Skill called: Burning Blade.
I really do not like that Bomb Toss move they do... So I thought- Let me try something sneaky!
Once I had enough "TP" to perform Burning Blade, I waited until the Goblin's health was low... and he tried to toss a nasty bomb at me. I let loose Burning Blade and with a guuurgrrr the Goblin would fall before he had a chance to toss!
noob tip 2:
Bunnies are not cute and fuzzy when they gang up on you!
I expect beastmen to rally together when I pick a fight with one of them.
I did NOT expect the seemingly docile Canyon Rarab to do the same thing!
I was heading home when I saw one and thought- Well one last fight....
I shot it in the butt with an arrow, then drew my sword and *Dia!* The unsuspecting bunny came angrily hopping toward me. Moments later I realized something else was kicking at me from behind. I glanced over my shoulder and !!!!!!!! another one!! Then a third came at me from my right side.
Having never been in this situation before, I nearly panicked.
I thought about shouting out for some help, but I hadn't seen anyone go by the entire time I had been training.
It was do or die time and I really didn't want to end up face first in the dirt in such an out-of-the-way area.
I knew I couldn't out run them either.
So I focused on surviving and trading blows. Striking with Burning Blade as often as I could. Mana was low, so I reserved it for Cure's and Dia as I fought a new foe. The third one was really testing me... We were but one well placed critical hit away from KO. I was feeling dizzy, having never exhausted so much of my health and mana at once. I mustered up the last of my strength to hit the beady-eyed thing as hard as I could.
I heard it cry, saw it fall, but also felt that strange feeling of energy restored.
It wasn't because of a kind passer-by either.
+==Level Up 17==+
Sometimes these bunnies drop some strange stuff. Postcards, Bar Tabs, Envelopes... I always wonder why the heck they mistake such things for a tasty treat.
I was in for a trrreat this time. That last one spit up a painting of one of the fabled male Mithra, which I have never seen even though I am a Mithra! This is totally going up on my Mog House wall!
HELLO KITTY!

If only I could make out the artist's name... Magicmoose? Hopefully, if I run into him or her they can tell me where they met their subject!
