I blinked the sleep from my eyes and tried to focus them...

Kia~mo~  ^^

Sha--  Sha-chan!?  Am I drrreaming?!  Don't wake me up!

I shucked my blanket and threw my arms about him.  So warm.  So strong.  His scent...  I leaned back to see he wore a matching wide grin.

I'm really here Kiamo.

But its only been two days...  I mean I am thrrrilled!  Thrilled! 

I hugged him again and he gently scratched me behind my ears.

I couldn’t go without asking you something first.

Oh certainly ask away ^_^  If I refuse to answer then… Will you stay?

And he did something I hadn’t seen before.  He blushed bright, bright red!  His whole face, not just a simple rose tint to the cheeks. 

Shagrath..?  What is it?  Is something wrong?

I sat up on my knees and scooted to the edge of my bed.  Shagrath looked so serious.  I hoped he wasn’t here to tell me this would be the last time I ever saw him.
He began to study the floor… I remembered when Wolfknight had done that… 
I didn’t want to hear bad news, but I would rather that then be lied to.  I cupped Shagrath’s face in my hands so he could no longer avert my gaze.
After taking a deep breath he took my hands in his and pulled them from his face.

Kiamo… Um…

Would you ever…

I nodded once, encouraging him to continue.

Consider…

Maybe…

I met his gaze, steadfast.

The possibility…

He drew in another long breath.  The room was so still and quiet.  Even the water seemed hushed.

Of perhaps ^^;

I waited… Perhaps what..?  I knew he wouldn’t invite me to accompany him.  I wasn’t near ready…

Marrying me?

I went stone stiff.  A chill moved through me, not even a chill, it was like all the energy I had surged to the surface and tingled my skin.  My eyes widened such that the room seemed flooded with the first rays of morning dawn.  Shagrath was in silouette.  Could I be dreaming?!  Had he actually just uttered these words to me?!  My heart quickened and I could feel my hands getting clammy in his.  I was lightheaded.  I couldn’t seem to draw in breath…  Or exhale…

I mean…  Um, if you don’t want too…

I felt my cheeks flushing.  I thought I might sweat myself a pool we would both drown in if I didn’t do something soon.

It’s uh… Okay I guess Q_Q

I finally got control of myself to give him a beaming smile.  Got the breath to relax myself.  Nodded my head to shake off the blushing.

Of course I would, Sha-chan!!!!

I leaned forward, full of immeasurable joy, and kissed him!
