One More Adventure?

After our guests had visited, and gone, Sha-chan and I were once again left to our own devices.

I thought, perhaps...  We could have one more adventure together Kiamo.  Is there something you might like... to do with me?

Hmmm... Ah... Well..  Remember before you left...  We had been preparing to venture into Sacrarium?  We each got a key...

Yes I remember that.

I should like to complete that, if we may.

Certainly, Kiamo. ^^

I asked around for help, as we could not complete the mission with just the two of us.   One of my linkshell members met us at Tavnazian Safehold as beastmaster.

Upon arriving I saw Larz heading toward us.

My former hate is 0!

That's great!  Sha-chan and I are going to check it now, but I'm pretty sure we are 0 also.  Do you think it would be worthwhile to ask around the safehold for assistance?

Probably not...

Oh...  Hmm.

Help with what?  Sacrarium?

Why yes! 

I'm about to do that mission!

No way!  Team up?

Of course!

That’s amazing!!!  Oh!  We have keys!  I have Sealion's crest key and Sha-chan has a coral key.

Great!  We have one of those also!

Wonderful!!! =^_^=  Oh what luck!  I'm so excited!

It was true.  I was giddy!  As if marrying Sha-chan wasn't enough, now the universe had given us the gift of this helpful stranger.  Who just happened to be standing right here.  Close enough to overhear the conversation.  I hugged the mithra.  She smiled and invited us to form an alliance with her.

Sha-chan and I ran to check our former hate, as well as gather supplies.  When we were ready, we sprinted out to Sacrirum.
I had such a good feeling about it! =^_^=
I was remembering my last time out with strangers...  None too fond an adventure *that* was.

But something just felt different about this.  It turned out to be very fun!
Everyone else in the other group was really nice and cracking jokes.  Even when one of them was sighted by a tarus, he just laughed as he was being knocked out.  Nobody complained.  Nobody did anything stupid.  It was amazing!

When the time came to fight the professor... Well talk about a lackluster battle!

The three beastmasters charmed hecteyes.  The summoner called on her pact with Shiva and Sha-chan had Lobo, as always.  They all sent in their pets to do battle!  We just waited outside the doors. 
Though we did peek in from time to time. 
At one point someone exclaimed, "Desk battle!"
I looked in, and sure enough, all the pets were doing battle with the Professor between, and sort of on, the desk!
Afterward we got the key from the drawer for Prishe.

The whole experience was so much fun that I momentarily forgot that Sha-chan would be leaving again soon.  I felt so blessed to have been able to do this with him before that time came.

The summoner sent me a friend request afterward.  Hopefully they will invite me along when they do more missions!  ^_^  But if not, I was glad to meet them all! =^_^=

Behind the Scenes

The inspiration for this blog comes from events and conversations that take place within the realm of Vana'diel.

Oftentimes I take screen captures of something that inspires me so I can refer to the actual event later, when I go to write the fictional account.

It was suggested to me to share some of these images.  So now you all get to take a peek "behind the scenes" so to speak!

Shagrath's Big Question *^_^*

Our Bond is Eternal

The next morning I woke up early and made my way to Bastok.
I had a subligar in storage that I had obtained with Shagrath, Ghrenn and some others a quite a while back.  I knew there was someone in Bastok who I could trade it to for a really nice top.
When I met this…. Well she was nothing more than a little girl!
Imagine that, some little girl cracking on my lack of fashion?
She told me if I returned in the outfit she suggested, which was a Raptor Jerkin and Iron Cuisses, she would give me a Glamor Jupon.
Of course there was no Raptor Jerkin or Iron Cuisses for sale in Bastok.
Why would there be…  I mean what self respecting Red Mage goes around it something like that?

Luckily, someone in my linkshell was in Jeuno and able to find the items on the Auction House there and send them to me! ^_^

I changed into the hideous outfit…  Noticing that the Raptor Jerkin was really tight around my chest, and went to show Brygid.
Satisfied, she had me trade her the subligar for a pretty new Glamor Jupon!
It fit and looked much nicer than that Raptor Jerkin.




On my way back to Windurst, I ran into a friend who I hadn’t seen in a very long time.
I told her of my plans for the evening and invited her to the event.

Tonight?  Oh s**t sorry…  I can’t, maybe if I had a little more warning.  I feel so bad!

Oh it’s okay, no worries.  It was all very…  sort of last minute. Hehe

Well here, take my Lilac Corsage.  I was spose to wear it to my wedding but…  Well it just wasn’t meant to be.  But you and Shagrath are!  I’m sure it will bring you luck, and look cute to boot!

Oh thank you!  Thank you!  See you sort of will be there.

Mmmm… Oh and I remember the other thing I promised you if you two ever got hitched!

You…  Oh no, you’re kidding that’s much too much!

After making a final check of my vows I headed to Windurst Waters [S].  I made sure to dress in my regular attire just in case Shagrath saw me by accident.  It’s bad luck, right?!

When the time finally came, I met with Ghrenn, Bern and Wolf and showed them the location for the event.  I went to get ready and when I heard Shagrath was in place, I found I was suddenly nervous!  My heart rate quickened and my hands started getting clammy. /blush

We even had a celebrity in attendance!  None other than Edwyth arrived to walk me down the isle!!
While he was waiting with me, he started setting off some fireworks!  It sort of shocked me out of my nervousness.  I smiled when I saw the brightly colored explosions appear in the distance.









As it turned out, Shagrath had a similar outfit idea to mine!
We also each wore complementing Heart wands from our very first holiday event adventure together. <3 =^_^=
I would have never guessed way back then, that I would standing here today, about to commit myself for life to this man.

No Opaline

Sha-chan and I visited Heaven’s Tower. We found out that rings, wedding attire and anything else wedding related could be obtained there… For a hefty price!
Neither of us were swimming in gil, so we set out to try and make some.
Fortunately, Ghrenn came through with a monetary pre-wedding gift that enabled us to purchase rings!
That was all we had the gil for, though.

Kiamo, don’t fret… I have an idea.

No, it’s really okay. I wish I had learned how to make wedding clothes for us… But I just haven’t yet. If I could just make them… Oh, Sha-chan I know it doesn’t really matter what we are wearing… I’m sorry, what is your idea?

Well, how about we have a ring exchange ceremony now. Then when I return, we will have the big wedding!

Sha-chan!! Do you mean it?!

Not that I wasn’t excited, but to be able to have a grand event where we had more time to plan, and invite our friends… Now that would certainly be amazing!

Yes I mean it, Kiamo! That would make you happy?

Being around you at all makes me happy, Sha-chan. But yes, I would very much like to share our union with our friends. All of them.

Yes… So when I return for you, we will have the time to do that.

I happily nodded and hugged Sha-chan.

Okay… I have the ring for you…

And I have the ring for you.

Together we knelt and used a special crystal to sign the rings.

So tomorrow then, Sha-chan.

Yes tomorrow… ^^

Okay! I’m off to bed then. I will see you at the ceremony!

After a quick kiss to Sha-chan’s cheek, I scampered off to my mog house. I doubted I would sleep much, I was far to giddy! But I needed some rest, for I did have a plan to get a special top to wear, even if it wasn’t Opaline.

Broke Shagrath

I want to first and foremost thank my best friend in the game, Shagrath. Without your amazing inspiration the following "comic" would never have happened! <3
Giant THANK YOU to Ghrenn! You're like my long-lost sister. I rarely get to see you now, but the love is always there. Thank you for all the support!! You know what I'm talking about "sis"! hehe =^_^=
And thanks Wolf, for being a big jerk! =p Hehe just~kidding~ I know your gift was hard to part with and I thank you for it! <3
